Spring Guide to Climate Dystopia. Digital.

An 18-page seasonal digital guide with 12 prompts across 4 typologies (journaling, ecological, spiritual, social/belonging) and chosen texts, to navigate climate dystopia in the upcoming spring months. 18p, digital.

The journaling guides are personal and philosophical while the ecological guides are rooted in research and action. The spiritual guides offer embodied contemplations and the social guides suggest new relationalities.

I’ve wanted to share my research as an artist and a professor outside of the walls of academia and art institutions, for a long time. My hope is that my particular constellation of research that informs my practice and teaching can serve a greater community. In my work, I weave together disparate disciplines such as climate science, ecology, spirituality, psychology, art, poetry and more.

This first release of Dystopie Fleurs Éditions offers a guide in the format of a digital magazine, and a print guide.

The Spring Guide to Climate Dystopia compiles 12 prompts in 4 categories. Each prompt / score can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. As an ensemble, I believe the guides can serve as a support to life in dystopian times. There is no right order to use the guide; you could go chronologically, or one per category, or start with one randomly and go to the next one that feels right. The idea is that you can live with the guide throughout the spring months.

This is the first release of Dystopie Fleurs Éditions. I hope that it serves many, and is the first of many. I am excited to create fruitful releases & invite collaborations with Dystopie Fleurs in the future.
