TOUCHER AVEC LES YEUX / BAIGNOIRE, 2012
Performance, Installation
This piece was created in response to an invitation to create work site-specifically in Le Corbusier’s first house he designed for his parents, for the Centennial. The performance / installation happened mainly around the master bathroom, a site of the body. An intervention of color, haptic senses and a sensual reading in the bathroom. An injection of the aspects of life and design that Le Corbusier famously suppressed. An insertion of an end table by Eileen Grey. The performance aims to bring to light the suppressed / oppressed as a result of his career trajectory.
